Prof. Gallardo told us to analyze how ADDIE Model works. “A” stands for analyze the learners to know their existing knowledge it helps to determine the goals and resources that needed. The letter “D” was for designs it is about the strategies that will be the learning solution and the other “D” was the develop it is a process that uses strategies with the support of media and conducting a pilot test. Next, is the letter “I” stands for implement it is also a learning solution but with the involvement of the learners that helps to facilitate them. Last letter was “E” which is evaluate like in ASSURE Model it helps to know if the strategies being applied is effective. Actually, it is similar from ASSURE Model but in ADDIE Model it evaluate the learners on a numerical basis like conducting a test unlike to ASSURE Model that has a particular stage for learner that helps to evaluate how the learning style works.

Week 8
I learned about the ASSURE MODEL. It is an Instructional Systems Design that helps to have an effective lesson plan and improve teaching and learning. The letter “A” is analyze learners that helps to know the characteristics, skills and learning style of every learner. “S” for State Objectives shows the learning outcomes after that is the use of other “S” which is the select media and materials then the letter “U” is for utilize media and materials and “R” is for require learner’ participation in order to facilitate the learner.. The last is the letter “E” is evaluate and revise for evaluating the learning process if it is not effective for the learner then revise it. We ready a presentation for this like making a lesson plan and a digital story.
Week 7
I learned about the TPACK (Technological, Pedagogical, Content Knowledge). This order is important because the technology being implemented must communicate the contend and support the pedagogy in order to enhance student’s learning experience. It shows that technology is best to guide students to be better. There are three types of knowledge which the Technological Knowledge (TK) , Pedagogical Knowledge (PK) and the Content Knowledge (CK). The Content Knowledge (CK) was the teacher’s own knowledge for the subject matter. The Pedagogical Knowledge (PK) was the practices, processes and methods for teaching and learning. And the Technological Knowledge (TK) describes the teacher’s ability to use technologies. I also learned about the SAMR (Substitution, Augmentation, Modification and Redefinition) it is the technology inside the room.
Week 6
We prepared a role play that represent the Cone of Experience by Edgar Dale. Our group was assigned for Demonstration level. I act like a teacher, i would show some solution for equation then after the student will also show his/her own solution. It was like my training for future. It’s good because it improved my self-confident.
Week 5
I learned about Cone of Experience by Edgar Dale. It has 11 levels which is the Verbal Symbols (books, articles, newspaper), Visual Symbols (graphs, charts, maps) in Symbolic Category. Then Recording, Radio Still Pictures (musics, magazines), Motion Pictures (films, movies, videos), Educational Television (animal planet, TV news, discovery channel), Exhibits (museum, job fair), Study Trips (field trips), Demonstration (displays, drawing, photograph) in Iconic Category, Dramatized Experiences (role play, tableau), Contrived Experiences (models,specimens), Direct, Purposeful Experiences (conducting a survey) in Enactive Category. Computer can category for them but aside from Direct, Purposeful Experiences.
Week 4
Prof. Gallardo told us to download application in cellphone that is related to our course. I choose to download the “Math Riddle” because it allows the players to think logically and it improved minds. It has different levels (easy to hard). We also did a story telling that posted in our facebook group.
Week 3
We did a group activity about the technology is Boon or Bane. Technology is Boon if it is used in the right thing like for studying or teaching process. While, technology is bane if of is being abuse like surfing for pornography and getting some fake news. We also discussed about “if technology can replace teachers’. Technology CAN’T replace teachers. Yes, technology provide knowledge but teachers provide knowledge with love and care for their every students. Technology doesn’t have heart but teachers HAS. Its good learned but learning with love is better because it STAY not only in our minds but also in our heart. I also learned about the ICT Policies which is about the Republic Act No. 10844 or the “Department of Information and Communication Technology Act of 2015”
Week 2
I learned about Technology in Education and Educational Technology. Technology in Education is the application of technology in any process of Education while the Educational Technology is the application of techniques to improve the process of human learning. The educational technology and instructional technology is much broader than educational media and technology integration .
Week 1
Professor Mary Grace P. Gallardo introduced herself and we did too. While introducing ourselves, we also say why did we choose our course, how we get in our room and gives some different rules and regulations in Laguna State Polytechnic University. In group activity we make a tableau which is about it like “NO ID NO ENTRY’ and “No Gambling”
